Rules of the 4th NC Triad Dance Choreography Exhibition Virtual Film Festival
Festival rules
Eligibility
1. All submitted works must be dance-related films or short films, including but not limited to modern dance, ballet, jazz dance, hip-hop, etc. .
2. The submitted film must be produced within two years of the commencement of the festival.
Submit the request
1. Film length: short (not exceeding 30 minutes) , long (exceeding 30 minutes) .
2. Video format: HD Digital Format, subtitle language in English (if not English dialogue) .
3. Each film must be accompanied by a detailed synopsis of the plot, the director, the choreographer and the production team.
Review process
1. Preliminary Stage: The Film Festival by the pre-selection Committee screening submitted films, to determine the shortlist.
2. The selection stage: the shortlisted films are viewed by a professional jury, and are rated and discussed.
3. Final selection stage: the final winner of each award will be selected by the jury.
Award criteria
1. The film's artistic value, technical level, narrative and performance form.
2. The contribution and influence of the film to the art of dance.
Innovative choreography and unique visual presentation.
Award settings
1. Best Dance Film Award, Best Dance Short Film Award, Best Documentary Dance Film Award, Best Animated Dance Award, Best Director Award, Best Original Choreographer Award, Best Dance Photography Award, Best Editing Award, Best Music Score Award, Best Sound Design Award, Best Dance Performance Award, Best New Dance Film Director Award, Audience Favorite Dance Film Award, Innovative Dance Video Award, Social Impact Dance Award, etc. .
Copyright and right to use
1. The copyright of the film submitted belongs to the producer.
2. The festival has the right to use film clips, stills and interviews with directors in its publicity and promotion.
Other requirements
1. All participants must comply with the relevant regulations and laws of the film festival.
The festival reserves the right to final interpretation of any outstanding matters.
